Presentation: Loss is both a universal and personal part of existence. In this interactive presentation, we will explore the kinds of losses that we all face, introduce research-based practices that may help us reflect, learn, and grow from whatever we are experiencing, and discuss how the concepts of “letting be, letting go, and letting in” may provide solace now and in the future.

Presenter: Martha Sorensen, MSW, is a retired clinical social worker and college professor. She established a patient/family counseling program at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in Chapel Hill, NC. From 2014 - 2020 she was an Oaxaca resident and subsequently returns every year. Currently, she lives in Santa Fe, NM.
