The Oaxaca Lending Library will once again sponsor a picnic to celebrate Canada Day (1 July) and U.S. Independence Day (4 July).

Join the OLL Community at a picnic at Casa Linda, a lush and lovely garden in the pastoral pueblo of San Andrés Huayápam. 

The picnic dinner will feature grilled hamburgers and bratwurst (grilled portobello mushroom burgers as a vegan option), accompanied by a variety of side dishes. Desserts will round out the meal. Beverage choices will include free water, lemonade and iced tea. Beer and wine will also be available at a cash bar. 

The number of participants is limited to 70 people.

Reservations are required and cost 250 pesos per person. On checkout, please indicate your meal choice (for each person) as Meat or Vegan and if you wish to bring a dish or volunteer to help out.

A shuttle service will be available to take participants to Huayápam and back. The shuttle will leave from the parking lot across from the south end of Llano Park. Boarding begins at 1:15 pm for a 1:30 pm departure. The return trip to Oaxaca begins at 5:00 pm. Cost for the shuttle will be an additional 200 pesos.
